GY Yang

GY says she is so excited to perform at this year's NC Hmong Music Festival! This will be her second time in NC, so come out and say Hello! In 2020, she collaborated with many notable artists such as Chenning Xiong and many more. This grew her fan base, jump started her music career, and pushed her to release her first original single in 2021 called "Ua Kuv Tus." GY is forever thankful to everyone who guided her to where she is today. Since then, GY has traveled to various states and performed at multiple shows. She still remembers her first performance live at the Minnesota State Fair in 2021. It's been an honor for her to share the stage with so many talented people and perform for all of her fans. She has so much fun working with some of the greatest artists of our generation and look forward to sharing more of her passion for music with everyone.

A fun fact about GY is that she has traveled to at least 13 states within the past 3 years.
