Vichai

Vichai is an artist and videographer in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He has been writing and creating music for over six years, and producing small skits and music videos for more than eight years. His debut performance was at the 2018-19 Minnesota Hmong New Year, where he sang his first song, "Yog Tau Koj Tsis Ntshaw Leej Twg," with his friend Seng Yah and the Miss Hmong Minnesota pageants. After that song reached one million views, it motivated Vichai to dive deeper into songwriting and producing. Although he never imagined my music career to reach this level, Vichai is grateful to have inspired younger generations with his work. It is a thrill for him to have opportunities to collaborate and share the stage with talented artists such as Ntxawg Moua, Destiny Band, DJB, Daplayers, and many others. Outside of music and filming, Vichai is passionate about the Hmong culture and learning more about our traditions, such as Mej Koob. Additionally, he loves the outdoors, enjoys hiking, and playing sports such as volleyball, basketball and football with his friends and family.
